Our chocoholic kitchen parties are a great alternative for hen’s nights, family get-together’s and birthdays or for just a fantastic chocolate experience. Urban Graze can cater for up to 16 people at our cooking school premise or up to 40 people at your venue for just $99 per person.
Begin the class with a tutored chocolate tasting of at least 18 different white, milk and dark chocolates. Learn the differences and uses for each and compare chocolate from all around the world including one of the world’s best, Callebaut.
A classic example of what to expect during the 3 hour class:
- Make hand-rolled dark chocolate truffles.
- Learn how to temper milk chocolate and make Aussie rocky road.
- Create a batch of rich chocolate fudge sauce to take home.
- Churn a litre of homemade chocolate chip and peanut ice cream.
- Learn how to decorate rich chocolate fudge cupcakes using different techniques.
Lunch or dinner is also provided by Urban Graze during the class as we wait for the fudge sauce to cool or the triple chocolate ice cream to freeze.
Urban Graze supplies all of the tools, aprons and equipment required for the class and will clean up the mess. If it is at your premise, we will return it to its original state.
After the class the guests can finish their desserts then and there or choose to take them to enjoy at home.
